China is the only game in town when it comes to EVs. Over half of new car sales in China are already hybrid or full BEVs, so growth there is going to be much slower than in previous years and growth in the rest of world matters more and more. The fact that EV sales in the rest of world has by and large stalled or even going backwards isn't a good narrative for the lithium story. I guess that's why the lithium bulls have moved onto the battery storage bandwagon as the EV story is quickly running out of steam.
