BEVs have not yet reached one third of overall car sales in China. So really have only just reached the steep growth on the S curve. Up 40% on the same period last year, so following the pattern nicely. In South East Asia the prefer BEVs over hybrids. So that will more than make up for smaller batteries. Not to mention huge growth in Latin America. Left leaning governments in the West will soon encourage BEVs to (supposedly?) save our coasts.
