I am assuming those Toyota sales figures include Hybrids. Now plugin Hybrids could at a stretch be classed as an EV because they can at least be used for short trips without starting their ICE but for anyone to put ordinary Hybrids (Toyota calls them self charging hybrids) into their EV sales is just plain deceitful.
