Some people have complained about lack of mechanics for EVs. This from today's Canberra Times - finally govt and instos are waking up to this need.

The advice I can give to young people now is that when I was young in the 60s and 70s I saw many fledgling businesses start - and some of them now are wildly successful, particularly those that started in specialised fields.

It may take some time - the first ones in will come out best dressed - in 10 years or maybe sooner there will be a million EVs on the road, and they will need specially trained people - mechanics, auto electricians, and more I don't know about yet.

On a different topic - last week there was US senate report about all the lies, misrepresentations etc from the FF companies to derail climate science.

Now I don't debate climate science - science does not engage in debates - it collects facts, puts forward testable theories. The theories make predictions - if they are right the theory is accepted for the time being. So it is not is matter of convincing people - that happens in religion or in courtrooms. If one does not understands the facts and the explanations of the theories there is no point trying to convince them.
