Yes that makes sense.
EV range is not an issue for those driving around town and able to charge at home. For the occasional long trip they need to plan the stops.
Reminds me in the 60s - we had to do the same planming when travelling around the Canberra/Wollongong/Batemans Bay area. Invariably when climbing the mountain range we had to stop and let the radiator cool off - a good time to have a picnic/lunch.
