I drive and tow a lot.
Adding a laden trailer approximately halves the range for my 2.0 lt ICE A4. I would expect the same for an EV.
Thus my 900klm range drops to 450klm. Acceptable. Sydney Brisbane/Sydney Melbourne, One stop of five minutes. Acceptable.
EV 400klm range drops to 200klm. Not acceptable. Sydney Brisbane/Sydney Melbourne, Four stops of thirty minutes, two hours. Not acceptable.
EV for run around town, ice for the highway.
