I read that the BYD Shark is bigger than a Ford Ranger or Hilux. It is bizarrely big. I curse these monstrosities in the local car park. Generally I assume the reason to own one is the same reason to have a particular croc charm, or a yo yo in the 1970s or leg warmers in the 1980s, just fashion really. But a couple of tonnes of fashion is a symptom of a sick consumerist society, and unsustainable at scale, EV or not. The men in the publicity shots are so..... manly. It's a worse example of a wankpanzer than a Cybertruck because it is in my shopping centre right now in large numbers. Just say no.

Now let the "yeah buttery" begin, e.g. "yeah but I had really bad chilled shins syndrome in 1983". You'll only make it worse for yourself, but go on.
