There’s an article on ‘electrive’ 22 /2/24 where the chairman of Yiwei thinks the lithium free batteries will be complementary to LFP not disruptive. Volkswagen has teamed up with Yiei on this. . A shipment of 500 such vehicle was recently sent to South America. Alternative batteries don’t seem that likely to be slowing the juggernaut of lithium batteries listening to industry commentators. Anyone’s guess longer term I suppose.
