Not only is it way too easy to remove the reply flag sometimes HC won't even let you post a reply until you delete the flag, when that happens I usually try to write in who I am replying to as part of my post.

The eBikes are an interesting development, they are obviously much less expensive and more portable but there are problems with them causing accidents on both footpaths and roads because of the speed differential on both. Its going to be difficult and expensive but I suspect in the future all bikes and scooters will be banned from walkways and roads for cars (unless they are registered like an electric Motorbike) and put on a bike path network. Obviously there will be some shared areas but in general there will be 3 different networks

There is also a problem with design regulation, anyone with some basic know how can assemble or modify an ebike and sell it. They don't have to pass a roadworthy and there is no one making sure that the battery charging system is foolproof so it is definitely a case of buyer beware if an ebike owner doesn't want to become part of unfortunate statistics.
