Robek, I understand you are a car enthusiast and love the sound of a throaty V8. We all have a passion for something. I once had a XB Ford Fairmont. Not your classic muscle car but it had a 302 in it and I loved it. I was 18 at the time and thought I was very cool.

I now despise the noise of ICE vehicles, especially those 2 stroke motorcycles that many of the young first time road bikers seem to hoon around on.

I literally drive my PHEV in EV mode because I find the experience better. A to B in smooth, quiet, pleasant surroundings with a very responsive power train. The only noise is that of the noisy diesel, toxic polluting pig dog cage decked out utes, that filters through to my surroundings. Very common up my way, even on school runs.

I feel over time, as mentioned in a previous post, the sound of a steam boiler or of horse flatulence, will not be as desirable as it once was.
