You obviously have a very flat area where you are. The noise levels between ICE cars and EVs are similar on flat roads at less than 50km/h until some ICE hoon spoils the ambiance or until an underpowered ICE has to climb a gentle hill and drops a gear to climb it- cant hear the tyre noise then!
