I live in a luxury apartment complex and the only thing I notice is additional charging points and power going into the basement layers (all professionally installed, of course - no extension cables going everywhere). There is a mixture of BHEV, EVs and regular ICE cars including ICE cars that are plugged into trickle chargers. A few Ferraris and other exotics that don't get driven much so need their 12V battery topped up. The entire building needs to meet fire regulations and I think any vehicle fire would be pretty drastic. The body corporate and insurances keep that in consideration. The price is so high as there are a few cars that are valued in the 7 figures on their own.
It is funny because I own the cheapest vehicle in the carpark (an old kick start dirtbike), and I need to keep an eye on it to ensure I don't get any coolant or oil anywhere. It doesn't have fans on the radiator so when it is idling down there it can overheat. I do enjoy the looks I get, riding it though. The weekly rent is about the same value of the motorcycle.
