It’s a little “too soon” (because the fire crews are right at this instance still responding to the inferno), but check the news on the run away fire in the Brisbane suburb of the Grange this afternoon. Three multi-million dollar homes including at least one from 1925 destroyed and several others still in threat and/or damaged.
The cause you ask?
Well reports have it someone was refuelling something with petrol and it ignited! You wouldn’t read about it would you … goodness, there’s another non-EV house destroyed by fire story happening right now and all because someone was refueling with petrol.

Have you actually fact checked battery fires in Australia related to thermal charging runaway (rather than battery puncture in accident or car damaged in fire started elsewhere or the classic - the Sydney airport “ev fire” which was actaully a battery pack that had been removed from a car and was damaged while not installed in the car!
