I don't believe that I mentioned EV's, Robek. Although they are a part of the amelioration process in tandem with solar/wind and batteries. And it matters not what any particular EV driver thinks about carbon emissions. The point is that they have ceased to burn circa 70 lit of FF every week (presuming they are charging from renewables).
The real catastrophe (plural) has already arrived with melting glaciers, mega floods, mega droughts, mega fires, death, habitat destruction, disease, connected human death and environmental migration - and if we don't make a concerted effort to stem the tide of destruction...well? Whether humanity will be successful or not before the above negatives morph into Armagedón is any man's guess, but we sure as hell gota try; and fast.
