Ta … similar to what Mitsubishi states to offer with their PHEVs … but doesn’t necessarily cover battery degradation which occurs “evenly” across cells at a faster rate than might be “expected”. I understand that some manufacturers will offer that general nature of warranty (which will cover failure of components such as say a cell in the battery pack which degrades abnormally compared to expectations and thus defects the battery and may result in repair of cell or replacement of battery pack) but also have an explicit battery warranty in the form of no more than certain overall reduction in battery capacity in certain km/year. Mitsubishi had such statements in earlier years, then removed them but I hear word they are bringing back in something of that nature, not that I’ve been able to confirm that yet. From my experience it’s the latter form of warranty which becomes more beneficial over longer term ownership.
