Sorry 0.37 you are correct, broader industry decline in production not size. Australia still produces larger pearls in the same time frame. Atlas has stated they have 'genetic issues' this is a concern as their new genetic research will be 8-10 years before commercial benifits are seen. They are possibly grafting oysters at a younger age also to reach targets. This would also contribute to smaller pearls if smaller beads were being inserted. There are so many variables in pearl farming so there will always be risks involved.
