Got to question why a trader would profit take prior to the Kobe auction in two weeks time? I think it’s more likely that someone saw an opportunity to heavily push down the SP to mop up the loose hands.
Knowing that pearls have had a dramatic increase in price it makes no sense to reduce a holding prior to one a the biggest auctions of the year.
