There was a demo, so I'm back!

I've not had a chance to analyse the audio fully yet, but I have a couple of initial thoughts/questions.

    First:

In the speech section, the demo was presented as being "live" right? If that is the case how come the whole signal graph is changing with each switch in source, including the time before the switch? I would expect a single waveform that changes structure with each switch. This looks pre-recorded to me. Did I miss a part in the presentation where he said this segment was pre-recorded? I see it says "Recordings" there in the bottom left, so perhaps I just missed the part where he said this segment was pre-recorded.

    Second:

Something he said at around 33 minutes in, "because of the internet, there is some latency so once the label changes, the sound will change a second later." - what does he mean here? The demo equipment is in the same room as him right? It's a weird explanation for the delay, perhaps there's a delay in the audio feed vs. the video feed which would make more sense, but it's got nothing to do with latency of the internet. Strange thing to say.
