Set people straight on the facts --> And that He did and supposedly, once and for all.

That was one of John's roles, the first, make the path straight for the Almighty God and Father, get people back on the simple truth trail, first milk, before the sudden appearance of Jesus.

John does this in the first 13 verses of John, and just LOOK at the creations, man made, not God, of that (John's first 13 verses).

In the beginning was the Logos = the likes of 2 Tim 1:9 - Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before time eternal.

Silly little pups, see John 1:3 and think the beginning in 1:1-2 is the Gen's creation = no such thing.
1:3 is simply part of the Logos, plan, thoughts of 1:1-2, the plan of a future Jesus, 2 Tim 1:9 was the first plan, thought, hence in that context, Jesus was the beginning of the creation of God, the firstborn of creation, in the exact same context. Rev 3:14 and Col 1:15.

And that plan is also known as Glory and held via God alone and this Glory is what Jesus asks for, in John 17:5 as well as God's literal presence.

The above is clearly seen, supported in the Bible, However,............one would have to shelve the set seeds for long enough, to let the Bible do the talking.
But, it appears pretty obvious, most simply cannot do that.
