That's fine if humans are no more than binary beings and function on 1s and 0s, faith / reason. The point is that human life extends into areas that can't be tested, no empirical evidence will ever be forthcoming and one might question for eternity without an answer that will satisfy science.
Real faith does not preclude evidence, testing and the questioning of everything. Humans can never and will never be bound by the limits of science.
