Grain farmers are in real trouble they cant make a living when grain prices are at 1970 prices, imaging the average worker getting 1970'S wages and having to pay off cars, houses, etc at todays prices, many owe much more than their farms are worth and thats in the millions, they have taken generations to accumulate their wealth and in only a few short years they have blown the lot, and if grain prices dont get back to at least $300 on farm you can expect to see the end of the family farm . There is a funny joke in the farming industry: A farmer is asked what he would do if he won tatts, and they awnser I will keep farming till its all gone!! How true that is!!
