Normally yes...but there is a dual battle going on in the court of public opinion. Banks need to have spotless reputations and be good corporate citizens because they are in a position of trust. Plus they are given a license to print money (literally) by the government.
ANZ need to be exposed for what they have done and feel pressure from the media and general public to "pull their heads in". To do this the media and public need to see the facts of the case.
