You have a point but Novo have substantial funding so I presume a lot of bulk sampling by various methods -large diameter drilling and conventional drilling and maybe some exploration shafts. I presume ground penetrating radar under light cover or similar geophysical methods will also be a handy tool to delineate previously unecognised conglomerate horizons. They have the capacity to raise a few hundred million to pursue this with every exploration method imaginable.
If the nuggets are localised it is looking like a huge locality with similar nuggets recorded at Egina in 1909 over 100 km away - which also apparently has conglomerates nearby.
This has put the entire Pilbara Craton in play stretching hundreds of kms from Beatons Creek to Karratha -just like the Rand.
