We are all still struggling including Quentin Hennigh and maybe a hundred analysts. I don't attribute much value to the pit bulk sample but the gold in the hard competent mafic rock from the jackhammer in the video is cause for excitement. Gold on a hard pan okay but encased in the rock ! Then we have everything from buckshot pyrite to mafic /basalt assemblages at Purdys to the Oscar Wits with clean quartz and sandstone - the latter of course we need much more information to start drawing any conclusions. I have been around the Pilbara for 50 years -the common conclusion has always been the Pilbara has never produced any gold resources of any substance - maybe that is why very little serious exploration has ever been conducted in the Pilbara.
