What's childlike is pretending science is somehow above ordinary people, beyond their comprehension, that they couldn't possibly understand and therefore must simply submit. Only approved science that is because any scientist who doesn't come to the approved answer is surely not a real scientist.
Its such an insult to everything it is be a capable thinking human. And its so ridiculous that some one who considers themself to be an intelligent person would come to that conclusion, but thats what you so many of you advocate
