Judging by your opener re the original poster you must be great at parties. Your scenario takes into account Telstra won't gain earnings through other business strands and new outlets. Comparing tpg mobile to Telstra is like comparing a busted thing to an Audi. In my opinion telstras dividend is as safe as any in the top 50 and for good reason. Cash talks.
