Too late once you are pregnant isn't it if you have rubella or are exposed to it by someone who is infected with it.

You do realize that it is just another name for German Measles don't you ?

There is no way it could have been nearly eradicated without immunizations. Nearly eradicated but not gone..

    • Rubella is a contagious, generally mild viral infection that occurs most often in children and young adults.
    • Rubella infection in pregnant women may cause fetal death or congenital defects known as congenital rubella syndrome (CRS).
    • Worldwide, an estimated 110 000 babies are born with CRS every year.
    • There is no specific treatment for rubella but the disease is preventable by vaccination.

You obviously have no idea about how viruses and bacteria mutate into new forms creating outbreaks that are untreatable in the non-immune and non-vaccinated.

As you are not immune to it should just hope that you don't get it if you are ever pregnant as the outcome is never good. That requires that others get vaccinated so they don''t give it to you as you have no immunity.
That is the part you don't understand.
You will pass on the non-immunity to your progeny most likely.
That is why they try to eradicate diseases through immunization, to protect people such as yourself..

As for your intrigue, it was you making the accusations that I was a pharma to support your stance.

I think we should just leave it there as we have polar opposite views on this.
