    Morning guys,

Obviously things are looking a little sick.

I read with interest that AC is now considered the devil himself by some and how dare he create panic in the ranks by placing a sell recommendation.

I didn't see any complaining when he placed a buy recommendation.

I also suggest that many here are too heavily weighted in NKP due to the prospect of great rewards that were offered, which is easy to do, I know.

I will lose money in NKP and already have. My investing philosophy of selling when I smell smoke kicked in yesterday and my losses will be less - however, still large enough to hurt (I punted on the day before the Con Court decision came out and increased my holding hoping for a positive decision).

However, there were clear signs that all was not well after the Con Court decision and the NKP 'clarification'. It is now reasonable to assume:

    1. Long delays resolving issues surrounding lease rights

    2. Xstrata reluctance to formally agree to massive capex spend with stressed counterparty on potentially at risk leases

    3. Other large players will try to bleed small NKP with other legal challenges and opportunistic tactics.

    4. Vultures smell blood and circle a cash strapped junior

    5. Reading AC's recent commentary(s) it was clear there was a risk of a sell recommendation being placed on the stock (and I e-mailed a friend saying just this yesterday).

    6. Some majors will be reviewing the Con Court decision carefully before committing to major investments in SA

Investing is tough and we all go through an apprenticeship (mine was Austral Coal!).

I don't expect any thumbs up for this post but learn from this painful financial lesson.

A company that has disappointed the market as NKP has and now appears to have some fundamental issues will take a very very long time to recover IMO; and whether selling in the opening panic or waiting till the dust settles selling is the correct thing to do (IMO) and move onto greener pastures.. there are definitely many other resource companies that are achieving at present.

Just don't blame someone else for your trading/ investing losses. We're all responsible for our own decisions.

Cheers (and good luck to us all when NKP next trades)
    John
