Actualy the 200 years Dow/Gold chart shows quite clearly what creating/installing the Fed has done.
The line showing the Dow/Gold ratio shows a fairly 'ordinary' climb until 1913 ( vertical red line) and legislative installation of the Fed. Since then, look how crazy the line has become.
Just on that chart alone, it must be reasonable to suggest that the Fed was created as part of a bigger plan.
