The chief analyst from one of the big fund managers was on The 7:30 report last night.
His prediction was the all ords could still fall about another 5% and it would take about 3 months for the financial markets to assess the sub prime market fallout and to settle down before recovering.
He also said it was quite possible the American Fed could cut interest rates to bring stability back to the markets in a couple of months time like they did in "1998".
I hope it will be quicker than that but he was one the so called experts.
