Things are tough in the US at the moment. Mrs Chuck who is American, has just returned from a short period in the US. Her nephew who is a qualified electrical engineer with good work experience is out of work along with most of his old work colleagues. There's just no work. They have three small kids and live off a pittance that his wife earns as a secretary. They are ground down with debt and there seem to be few prospects. Yet, they still believe in the American dream and can't seem to cotton on they've been sold a bill of goods...
