Félix Tshisekedi and Cyril Ramaphosa undertake to strengthen cooperation for the promotion of investments
The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Felix Tshisekedi had a one-on-one meeting with his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa after the closing ceremony of the SADC Summit.
According to the DRC presidential press, the two Heads of State discussed the bilateral relations between their two countries and made a commitment to strengthen cooperation in the political, economic, security and investment promotion fields.
The Head of State also had a separate meeting with the Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema.
The opportunity to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
As a reminder, the President of the Republic took part in the 42nd meeting of the extraordinary summit of SADC Heads of State and Government.
This meeting ended on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Lilongwe, Malawi.
The Summit decided to extend the mandate of the SADC mission in Mozambique to combat terrorism and rebuild the country.
