I was following the previous thread re. war etc. Some excellent comments and viewpoints ... Personally I can not see a peaceful resolution to this situation. As Grant mentioned - I fully agree what he said - if SH is left where he is UN will keep playing cat and mouse with SH and we will be no wiser. Weapon inspectors will not find anything in Iraq and I doubt it is beacuse SH do not have on going development in well hidden localities. What comes to G.W's motives to start the war ...well, call me what ever you like, but the election coming up in November should be one. Republicans do not want to lose any seats in the congress and a war would probably serve as a 'good' excample of a leadership etc. for G.W. What ever the motives the game has been going on too long and SH is a great risk. I belive a militiray strike is going to happen in the next month - as Grant mentioned. If SH is not removed, we are in the same situation as we were during the cold war only the enemy is wearing different cloathes. Personally I do not want a war but I can not see a other outcome. SH needs to be removed....
