I have raved previously about outlandish concepts involving commercialisation of BPT's Cooper Basin trove via an LNG route and how harnessing & extending of Epic Energy's pipeline network could be a key element.
Since then investigation of a LNG route has been confirmed AND some interesting international parties have come aboard:

ATCO
Speculation today in the AFR that ATCO has expressed interest in acquiring HDF's Epic Energy pipeline assets adds some more (unconventional) fuel to this conceptual bonfire...
