That is a stupid statement.
If the US pushed into Iran now, they would probably be beaten. They have 150K troups in Iraq and they cant take control there. If they do have plans for Iran, which they most probably do, they will wait.
Sort out the sh1t fight that is Iraq at the moment, then use it as a base to attack Iran...
