    Actually Sue, I'm much in the same position as yourself, having stopped building years ago and concentrated on shares to keep the super fund going.

    I found property very illiquid, and the profits so small that gearing was a necessity. This imposes very high risks and is largely the subject of this discussion.

    I know you can see good results from property atm as Perth still has a life but the rest of Australia is heading down so it will follow to Perth.

    Watch your profits and lock them in.
