    re: the economist and the housing -sue thats a nice thought techno8 but this recent greed and hype driven property boom has exceeded all fundamentals and will take a hammering regardless who won or lost this round

    the right to affordable property if you contribute to society should be unquestioned. Now it has been used, with the help of endless 'free' (ha ha) credit for sheer unchallenged greed.

    That will end, and balance to reality, and people will get burnt badly.

    for the record, I've played with this asset class and profited, but it aint an endless river of money especially now.
