Interesting you should mention this today " Poor old QUEENSLAND they came 2nd last in australia", only yesterday my 3rd grader came home with a letter from Anna Bligh urging us all to get onto this govt site http://www.qsa.qld.edu.au/assessment/7137.html, so we can all have copies to last years tests to ensure our students pass (if only it was this simple) the same school has just had another 130 extra enrollments over the Christmas period and only one new teacher has been added (though lost another teacher aide) the School has now combined a class of year 2,3 and 4 students and given this combined class to the new teacher (lucky Woman) and the Bligh govt wonders why Qld students are so behind? I guess we should all go private-would be so much easier for the State Govts.
