Firstly, it is not a crisis. The advice you will get from well-meaning folk on hc is "do your own research". Look at the reasons / fundamentals of why you invested in RAU in the first place. Have they changed significantly? Look at the announcements over the course of 2007, listen to the BRR's. What else is impacting the market at the moment, etc. etc.

As for getting on the bottle, I think regular (not excessive) imbibing is healthy and social, so do that anyway. It will help pass the time when you are doing your research.

I am also a long term investor (been in it at the start for some reason I can't remember) and have participated in all the share purchase schemes as well as topped up in recent months. We'll get there is mho.
