I think you'll find many instruments of "investment" will be stripped and made illegal.
There are just too many negatives and opportunities to play the market and benefit due to manufactured scenarios.
These instruments may have had a place before powerful computers, the internet and massive bandwidth but not now.
Today the markets aren't about investing in companies, it's about massaging the market into the condition you need to make a dollar.
That flash crash in the US should have put a ban on all high frequency trading right there and then. By the mere function of HFT there is no "investment" thought process at all just money stipping.
