I would argue that releasing that extra land onto the market will decrease the price of the lot in question.

You normally only see such increases in land prices when zonings have changed, in the case of
the block in diggers, zonings dont appear to have altered going by the article, the near 100%
return in such a short timeframe is quite unusual in that regard
