"The powers that be" are just junked up party politicians who will get no power at all if more than a few hundred people turn up to a rally and protest (or don't turn up to a similar field of work in protest). Imagine how quickly the Labor govt would drop the Greens if 10,000 people turned out to shout and curse their no people agenda! Many electorates are swung by a few hundreds of people and the "powers that be" know it full well. No, there will be no credit chip, and tradies all over this wide brown land will rejoice in their black market trade for many years to come. We vote and that is the only way the slimy, never held a real job, pollies get in in the first place (please consider your vote carefully).
