I hope that the world's investors reduce their exposure to greenbacks if the US aren't disclosing M3. It does an investor disjustice to be buying US currency only to find that the currency is worth less due to over printing of money which the investor would have otherwise had access to that knowledge. This totally smells fishy, as though they intend to increase the supply of money and hope that foreign investors to their country take a while to notice that their own currency can buy more greenbacks for their own currency.
