Your premise was that migrants should be allowed to stay purely because of what western countries have done to their countries in the past. If this is not what you are arguing I apologise, but that is strongly implied in your original post.
Am I responsible for what colonial Britons did to Australian Aboriginals? Are present day Americans responsible for what happened to the Native Americans?
