Worth making the point I think that it's only the SH (and really the minor SH which we all are) that are continually clamouring for updates and good news. From AKP's perspective, keeping SH informed is a hassle - hence the more or less legal bare minimum we're provided with.

A lack of informing SH doesn't really signal poor progress or success or anything else. They're not a PR company (that's for sure!!) and at least as far as I'm aware they're not looking to sweetheart the market in a drive for more funds. Aside from what one might think of as courtesy or even "good form" AKP is, realistically, unmotivated to direct efforts to keeping us informed.
