Dead cat bounce Dui. US will be up tonight as will Europe and then in a day or two someone somewhere will take a look at the fundamentals and realise "doh!"
You cannot have volatility on a one way street. You have to have days like today and that, as you well know, is what we traders hope and pray for. Nothing beats buying a stock for, say, $1, selling it for $1.30 and then buying it back again around $1.00.
