It's telling isn't it? I'm really not sure what the conservatives can do about the slide. Do the Liberals reinvent themselves with better policy and a more empatheitc reputation, or will the ideology of surplus and small Govt be too hard to step away from. Since Labor's shift to the center it means the Libs are stranded as an outlier, there is no resemblance now to Menzies. The young one's coming through have no interest in what the Lnp offer. It's become a mean party, a ruthless party and one that cannot be trusted. They cannot shaft Nats because they';d be decimated without them, and the Nats must love the power they now have over the Libs. Teals are a thorn in their backsides which will only hurt their bottoms more. It's going to be interesing to see how it all plays out in 6 or 7 years from now.
