the Liberal principles are dead - irrelevant, unworkable, impossible to have congruent policies
so - the Liberal party as such - will die. What will happen is that because that only leaves Labor and some scattering --------------- one of two things will happen
a new major party will rise or
the scatterings will form into smaller parties
what happens to Labor then is to be seen - whether it loses people to a variety of scatterings or if it maintains it's percentage or maybe even strengthens a bit -
so, there would in the latter case be 'Labor v scatterings' - and when the scatterings have enough - they could cobble together a mob to form government
need refs - easy - look to countries that don't have a clear 2 party system - there's evidence to burn in many places
