    I would actually agree that it’s sad that the right, the world over, have been caught up in an economic disaster that has been in the making since RayGun and Thatcher.

    It’s been writing on the wall for a long time. We go from bigger boom to bigger bust every time. Debt across many first world countries is out of control.

    Now, hark back to when Menzies, not perfect but steady, guided the country. He spent when he needed to spend and vice versa when he didn’t. Many first world countries were the same. The States didn’t falter from post depression, when they set up laws on the markets to stop the gambling, to the eighties. And then what happened?

    Conservatism, has been on a decline ever since. And all those surpluses? From poster by Howard? Built on selling the assets of all the utilities for a quick gain and a shit service. Done in numerous countries and all a fail.

    So on that point, I would agree.
