there is no doubt the the world over time has experienced wild varations in weather and what we are now seeing is exactly what has happened over the ages however i do believe that human activity has sped up the process!!!!
having said that i believe that the human race has a remerkable ability at technological advancement and we are now seeing this in battery development for both ev's and residencial storage systems, over the next 20 years or so we will witness imo an amazing change in this area.
however these improvements will only take place in the western world, the third world will imo still be reliant on oil for their energy needs.
